We are seeking an exceptional Marketing Director with deep expertise in strategic positioning, packaging, digital marketing and demand generation — and a proven track record with early and growth stage companies in the cybersecurity industry. In this role, you will own building and executing a strategic marketing plan to continue advancing Mitiga as a category leader and to drive pipeline creation.
You will work closely with Mitiga’s sales team, channel partners, technology partners, external agencies, and cross-functional partners to deliver measurable results and create impactful campaigns that position us as a trusted name in the market. What You’ll Do:
- Develop and lead the execution of Mitiga’s overall marketing strategy, aligning with company objectives and sales goals.
- Build a marketing plan that incorporates demand generation, digital marketing, and brand-building initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to optimize marketing efforts across channels.
- Drive pipeline creation by developing and executing multi-channel lead-generation campaigns, including organic search, paid search, paid social and more.
- Partner with sales teams to ensure alignment between marketing campaigns and sales goals, providing qualified leads to drive revenue growth.
- Own and optimize email and nurture programs, leveraging marketing automation tools to enhance lead engagement and conversion rates.
- Lead the strategy and execution of paid and organic digital marketing campaigns to increase awareness, engagement, and conversions.
- Manage performance metrics, regularly reporting on campaign ROI and implementing optimization strategies.
- Oversee website and landing page content strategies to ensure alignment with SEO, demand generation, and branding efforts.
- Plan and execute events of all types - both in person and digital that position Mitiga as a thought leader in cybersecurity, increase brand awareness and build pipeline.
- Hiring and managing the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Manage agency and contractor relationships to ensure seamless execution of paid media, content creation, and other outsourced marketing activities.
Requirements
- 7+ years of B2B marketing experience in cybersecurity.
- Deep understanding of digital marketing, and demand generation.
- Experience managing marketing budgets and demonstrating measurable ROI from campaigns.
- Proven success in aligning marketing strategies with sales objectives to achieve pipeline and revenue goals.
- Strong analytical mindset; adept at using data to guide decision-making.
- Excellent project management skills, capable of balancing big-picture strategy with attention to detail.
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
- Audience-focused, with a strong understanding of cybersecurity decision-makers' needs and challenges.
- Highly proficient with the latest AI tools with demonstrated ability to leverage AI for marketing purposes.
